Sarah Palin Poetry 8

See
Under a big government
More tax agenda
What you thought was yours
Would really start belonging
To somebody else
To everybody else
If you thought your income
Your property
Your inventory
Your investments were
Were yours
They would really collectively belong to everybody
Obama
Barack Obama
Has an ideological commitment to higher taxes
And I say this
Based on his record
Higher taxes
More government
Misusing the power to tax
Leads to government
Moving into the role of some believing
That government then has to take care of us.
And government kind of moving into the role
As the other half of our family
Making decisions for us
Now, they do this in other countries
Where the people are not free
Let us fight for what is right
John McCain
And I
We will put our trust in you

I’m not saying that he is dishonest,
But in terms of judgment
And in terms of being able to answer a question forthrightly
It has —
It has two different parts to
It’s that judgment
And that truthfulness
And just being able to answer very candidly
A simple question about
When did you know him, how did you know him?
Is there still —
Has there been an association with him since ‘02 and ‘05?
We’ve heard a couple of different stories.
I think it is relevant

It is pertinent,
It’s important
Because
When you consider Barack Obama’s reaction to
And explanation to
His association there
And without him being clear at all
On what he knew
And when he knew it
That I think kinda peeks
Into his ability to tell us the truth on
Not only on association
But perhaps
Other things also
So it’s relevant
I believe
And I brought it up
In response to the New York Times article
Having been printed recently
And I think it just makes us ask the question that,
If there’s not forthrightness there
With that association
And what was known
And when it was known,
Does that lead us to ask,
Is there forthrightness
With the plans Barack Obama has
Or say tax cuts,
Or spending increases,
Makes us question judgment.
And I think it’s fair and relevant

Sarah Palin Poetry Part 5

I have a vast variety of sources
Where we get our news to
Alaska
Isn’t a foreign country
Where it’s kind of suggested it seems like
Wow
How could you keep in touch with the rest of Washington, D.C.
May be thinking
And doing
When you live up there
In Alaska
Believe me
Alaska
Is like a microcosm of
America

I’m going to take those shots
And those pop quizzes
And just say that’s okay
Those are good testing grounds
And they can continue on in that mode
That’s good
That makes somebody work
Even harder
It makes somebody be
Even clearer
And more articulate in their positions
So really I don’t fight it
I invite it

I’m not one of those
Who maybe came from a background of
You know
Kids who perhaps
Graduate college
And their parents give them a passport
And give them a backpack
And say go off and travel the world.
No
I’ve worked all my life.
In fact,
I usually had two jobs
All my life
Until I had kids
I was not a part of
I guess
That culture
The way that I have understood the world is through education
Through books
Through mediums that have provided me a lot of perspective
On the world

Sarah Palin poetry, Part 2

Yes
That’s a great question,
And being an optimist
I see our role in the world as one of being a force for good,
And one of being the leader of the world
When it comes to the values that
It seems that just human kind embraces the values that
Encompass life
And liberty
And the pursuit of happiness,
And that’s just
Not just in America
That is in our world.
And America is in a position
Because we care for so many people to be able to lead
And to be able to have a strong diplomacy
And a strong military
Also at the same time to defend not only our freedoms
But to help these rising smaller democratic countries that are just
You know
They’re putting themselves on the map right now
And they’re going to be looking to America as that leader
We being used as a force for good is how I see our country

Sarah Palin Poetry Part 1

We have trade missions back and forth
We, we do
It’s very important
When you consider even national security issues
With Russia as Putin rears his head
And comes into the airspace of the United States of America
Where, where do they go?
It’s Alaska
It’s just right over the border
It is from Alaska that we send those out
To make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation
Russia
Because they are right there
They are right next to
To our state
