Slow regeneration

July 23rd, 2008 John

In looking at the the wreckage, we’re going to use the opportunity to reconfigure Shuffleboil into what I would consider Phase 3 - or 3.0 if you’re a techie geek. At some point, we will move along with that in mind and I will probably slowly be rebuilding on the other end - retro blogging, as ti were - to create a blog that doesn’t post in a linear fashion in order to get up to full speed. In the meantime, I’ve set up an archives page for the visual work that will at the very least give people the opportunity to read The Bob and Danger Brigade in order. It’ll be slow, but I don’t see the point in being stressed out by this nonsense and sometimes you have to destroy to create anyhow.

What’s going on

July 23rd, 2008 John

So . . . there was a Wordpress update issue that I had, so I decided the best course of action was to reinstall Wordpress and then import the info back into the blog. However, the import is not working — neither an XML file to the actual blog, nor an SQL file into the database. So I’m trying to figure that out. If I can’t, I’m faced with the annoying and daunting of manually putting in old entries - and lord knows I wouldn’t put in everything, but certain select things.

So if anyone actually gives a shit about the blog, please leave a comment and let us know before we kill ourselves doing this . . . this is your chance to show us some much-needed love.

Or if anyone has any suggestions to a simpler way of tackling this . . .

Ugh. Tired.
